Battlecade: Extreme Fighting Championship # 2: was a mixed martial arts event that took place on April 26 / 1996 on the Kahnawake Reservation outside of Montreal, Canada. The event featured battles for the title of Extreme Fighting Champion. This event was full of controversy from the very beginning. It all started when the Canadian government who was against the event being shown in Montreal, gave threats of jail time if the fights proceeded claiming it was an illegal fighting event. The promoters then at the last minute decided to change venues to the Kahnawake Native Reservation where the government had no authority. Since the fights were on Native land the government let the event go on, but the next day nine of the participants were arrested when they left the Reservation. This video includes the controversy before and after the matches as well as the fights themselves

The fight card was shortened because of a couple of the fighters pulled out of the event on the day of the event due to the threats of jail time
